FAQ's
Our warranty program is unparalleled. We stand behind our manufactured bedding, with a 30 day comfort guarantee on most of
our bedding. Because we manufacture on site, we are, in most cases, able to pick up a mattress in the morning and adjust the
materials to your comfort level and re-deliver the same day. Any reputable company should stand behind their product
regarding any manufacturing problems. Normal wear and tear will be considered when assessing any mattress problem.
Always purchase your new mattress and box spring as a set. Your old box spring has wear spots just like your mattress. When
you put a new mattress on an old box spring it will take the shape of the old mattress and may also negate the warranty.
Queen and King sets need a proper center-support. This will help with the longevity of your new set and also meet the manufacturer’s warranty.
Mattress pads are highly recommended to keep your mattress clean. If soiling occurs, this also may negate the warranty.
Folding mattresses should never occur. It will damage the spring unit, components and will negate the warranty. There is some flexibility through doorways and stairs.
Expect some adjustment time. It may take as long as a month to get accustom to the new surface, especially due to the amount of time spent on the older set.
Spend as much as you can afford. This is a product the gets maximum use. Due consider the quality, value and... not just the lowest price. Independent manufacturers will always give you the best value. There are no middlemen and the value will be half the price of retail. The real bonus is the product knowledge and the industry that our salespeople have.
Impressions... are a natural occurrence with some of today’s bedding. An impression is the mattress components conforming to your body weight. It doesn’t mean your set is wearing out. Turning your mattress on a monthly flip and rotation will help the product to settle evenly.
The Box Spring is equally important as the innerspring components. The two are engineered to work together to provide proper support and comfort. We use a combination of heavy gauge coils and modulars to create a unique shock absorber. Forty percent of the body weight gets transferred into the box spring, which eases the wear and tear of your mattress. Think of it in terms of the shocks in your vehicle...it provides for a smooth ride. Be wary of the variety of “box springs” that are sold under the guise of formed wire box spring. There are several substitutes that are inexpensive and inferior to a coiled box spring that will not offer the resiliency that a true box spring offers.
Innerspring Unit is the basic component for the mattress. That said, here lies the confusion for most consumers. There are several variations in coiled units that a manufacturer can use to create a mattress. Our philosophy here at Mystic Bedding is to start with a firm base, which will enhance the life of your mattress set. A lower gauge and coil count will give a firm base, which will enhance the life of your mattress set.
We use a 368 offset unit (the coil count is based on a full size bed) with 12 1/2 gauge wire. There are more coils in a queen and king, less in a twin. They are tempered by heat to assure that all of the formed wire retains ifs shape even after years of use. The offset unit is a superior spring unit. The offset unit is sensitive to body contour...improving sleep comfort.
We also use a Bonnell unit which is the mainstay for most manufacturers and are produced in a variety of gauges.
Fiber products are a blend of synthetic fiber needle-punched and resonated. These pads help manufacturers produce more comfortable bedding. The insulator pad extends bedding life by preventing matting, spreading and pocketing. With a wide selection of fibers you can enhance firmness and loft to the mattresses for desired comfort, while enhancing support where needed
